I started listening last year here in Ireland, and at that time, I have to admit in my ignorance, that I had never heard the name of Dothan, Alabama.

Now, I realise just how much I have learned about the place!

I am out of radio myself now for about ten years, but funny thing is - WEEL seemed to take me back to even before that - when all radio was local, and if you loved the community - the community loved you back.

Sad it didn't happen a bit quicker.

Still, it was a great experiment - not the end of the world - just a chapter in the book.
