Bob, thanks a lot for the info! This CD mentions a Publication year. Still confused with this Mantovani one, and doubtful I'll get an accurate answer, mainly because it's classical music. If it were Buddy Holly, for example, I'd be swarmed with answers. Not even sure where this CD was actually distributed. Yeah, the first published song in stereo is often asked. Hard to say - but thanks for the tip! Know some songs were never released in stereo, on vinyl, but later made it to CD in that format. On my current project, I want to find out what recordings, if any, were destroyed at places like the fire damaged Caribou Ranch (many artists, like Elton John and Chicago recorded there), and Atlantic Records (recall reading of a warehouse fire). Reason being, I search for out-takes and alternate versions, but as many songs Chicago and Elton John recorded, there doesn't seem to be a drop of anything unusual. Any "alternate" versions are remakes. With Atlantic, the fire theory makes me believe this is why their songs have more tape hiss than others. Had to salvage what was left. Oh, well. Have a great day, Bob!!! Best,
