Subject: The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want

Message Detail:
Know it was recorded in 1968, released in Dec 1969, so if it charted, it must have been in 1970! Selected as #100 in Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 500 songs! You don't think the name of the magazine had anything to do with this pick, do you? Na!!!! The Producer, Jimmy Miller, is also the drummer on this song. Believe Doris Troy also adds vocals!

I love the funny lyrics in this song! Not in the snippet, but Mick sings about some man on the radio telling him how to get his shirts white and Mic says how can he be a man when he doesn't smoke the same cigarettes as him!? Funny!

Best,
John
