Message Detail:
I could be totally wrong about this, but I would be inclined to think it might have happened in 1956.

That year, there was a tune at Number One called "Lisbon Antigua" by Nelson Riddle - it was the theme from the Ray Milland movie called "Lisbon".

It was replaced at Number 1 by Les Baxter's "Poor People Of Paris".

So the question is - was Les Baxter's hit at Number 2 the week before it replaced Nelson Riddle ar Number 1?

To be honest, I cannot remember, but I will go with that one.

John - put us out of our misery and give us the answer.
