They may have been a blast to work with but they seem to have attracted tragedy left right and center.

King Curtis who played that wonderful sax on their hits, was stabbed to death....Gunter was shot dead in a parking lot....Nate Wilson was found headless in the desert...Manager Patrick Cavanaugh was sentenced to death for killing Wilson, and he died in jail in Nevada.

Still the records were a gas!
