Subject: Do Record Companies deserve more money from Radio?

Message Detail:
I'd like to see an actual law adopted where the sound quality become an issue, as a deciding factor, rather than a mere song title on any media! If it sounds "bad", no royalties are paid. This forces artists to become more involved in the actual recordings and any issue, even reissues.
For example, I have a couple Nitty Gritty Dirt Band CDs, even a "Remastered" one, but the sound quality in the snippet below exceeds them both! Obviously, record companies use edited spent tapes to "master" from, then beg for more money!

Best,
John
