Jim's a nice person. Even though I don't always have great things to say about the stations he manages, business, is business, and I admire that he does respond to my remarks.

Does radio play "sell" music? Well, for me, yes. I heard a part-time DJ, with his 3-4 weekend show, college based, and he played a stereo song that got me excited, that I later rushed to find/purchase the song(s) on CD. The artist, Hank Ballard & Midnighters. Not even *new* music! :-)

Same with our Bob.

As our economy fails, I believe I'll see more and more of this, anything to make (more) money, however.
