Thanks for everyone's input! I don't want anyone to get in an arguement over this!!! OK... what is "Old Gold"? Also, I decided not to do any 80's music. I guess that is just too much of a time span. I think I can work some 70's in with the 50's and 60's music. I'm 40 (did I admit that?) and I've been listening to an oldies station to really listen to the music - and I can picture myself having a good time dancing to it. Can I incorporate some Motown into this dance? (or is that expected?) Four Tops, Supremes, Marvin Gaye. Is five hours too long? 8 pm - 1 a.m. Is there enough music to fill five hours?? How about the $15 cover price? What are your favorite dance songs from the 50's? ps: there is an annual Oldies Concert held at a college around here, and it is always a sell-out. (I've never been to it, but my friends go every year) So I know there is an interest in this area.
