Fool In Love With You (1981) - Jim Photoglo AKA Photoglo. Stereo. Joel Whitburn mentions, Jim's a "Pop vocalist from the South Bay area of Los Angeles". Jim actually produced this song (and LP), and was part song writer! Played guitar, too! This is from a Japanese import CD. While it's "different", preserving every nuance of sound, and is probably remixed/remastered, it deviated too far from the 45 single (or LP?) I had. Almost sounded like a "remake". This is why I found most audiophile LPs unexciting. Anyway, I sculptured the sound to what I recollect. My interest in '80's music began to fade, not because of the songs, but the way they began to sound. Drums, especially, no longer sounded like real drums. Welcome to the digital age. Jim didn't storm the record charts with this song, but it was his second (best charting, #25) Top 40 Hit!... Have a great weekend everyone! Best, |
