Subject: Dee Clark - Raindrops - 1961

Sound quality, especially stereo, is high priority in my book of early songs! Take this fine song, for example. Even though Dee Clark was a US recording artist, what is published (on CD) in the UK has superior sound quality! My ears tell me all that's left in the US is existing stereo master tapes, nothing to "remaster". No big surprise to me, as Northern Soul exceeded demand in the UK! This was Dee's last US Top 40 and best charting hit. Good singer! Sad to read he past away!
