Message Detail:
Actually, Don Costa who was A&R chief for ABC Records, produced this.

The song was written by Fred Tobias who had penned stuff for Elvis, Pat Boone, Nat "King" Cole, Perry Como and loads more.

Oddly enough, this was the B side of the record - the A side was "Come on Joey, Dance With Me," but DJs preferred the flip.

I think this was their only hit in the USA but they had a second hit in the UK with "Early To Bed" around 1959.

They must be the only group in history to turn down a major label when offered a second five-year contract.

They said they were simply fed up with the music business and wanted to go home to Ohio!
