All,

Hi!

This is a short review of the Wednesday March 25, 2009 Top 40 Classics - The Classic 45's You Grew Up With Show hosted by Dr. Johnny P. LoveTrain.

Great Show!

Olivia Newton - John and Andy Gibb started the show with a 4 play consisting of 2 songs by Olivia (1 with The Electric Light Orchestra and 1 solo hit) and 2 tunes by Andy.

The 3 Of A Kind feature was also presented.

The main idea of this feature is that listener tries to figure out how each of the 3 songs played are related to each other.

The first listener to E - Mail Dr. Johnny with the correct answer, will get a " Shout - Out " on the air!

The songs played were:

Lyin' Eyes - The Eagles - 1975
Blue Eyes - Elton John - 1982
Sad Eyes - Robert John - 1979

The answer of how these 3 songs are connected with each other is:

Each title contains a different type of eyes.

The following were some of the oldies that were played during the first hour:

Rosanna - Toto - 1982
Who's Zoomin' Who - Aretha Franklin - 1985
Chantilly Lace - Big Bopper - 1958

9:00 P. M. EST - 10:00 P. M. EST

The second hour of the show started with his Original / Remake feature and the song, " Ain't No Mountain High Enough " by both

Marvin Gaye And Tammi Terrell - 1967 - - - - Original Version
Diana Ross - 1970 - - - - Remake Version

During the remaining of this hour, these were some of the Listener's Song Requests that were played:

Lady - Kenny Rogers - 1980 - 1981
Julie, Do Ya Love Me - Bobby Sherman - 1970
Raindrops Keep Fallin' On my Head - B. J. Thomas - 1969 -1970

10:00 P. M. EST - 11:00 P. M. EST

These were some of the oldies played during the last hour:

Midnight Confessions - The Grass Roots - 1968
I Want Your Love - Chic - 1979
I Got You Babe - Sonny And Cher - 1965

The Time Machine segment presented 6 songs that were popular on March 25, 1978. The sixth song in this segment played was the #1 song on this date, " Night Fever " by The Bee Gees. Also, Dr. Johnny covered some of the news headlines that occurred on this date.

Next Week's Time Machine will feature April 1, 1988.

The show ended with the song, " Heaven Is A Place On Earth " by Belinda Carlisle from 1987 - 1988.

Have a safe, beautiful and Blessed day and weekend in Him.

Take Care!

God Bless You All!
