There was a novelty record called "Oliver Twist Meets The Duke Of Oil", written and recorded by Rod McKuen, and indeed another version by The Steel Men.

You sometimes find this on YouTube.

There was also a record by Oliver & The Twisters called "Locomotion Twist".

Cannot straight away remember any others.

There was a band called Oliver Twist, but their first record wasn't until 1967 or so.
