I and others have already seen (heard) changes. My best wishes for Bob, but it's tough out in radio land, these days. I observe two stations in my area. They have to:

A.) Give away free prizes and vacations to maintain their listeners.
B.) Lay heavily on "community" events, such as supporting donations for downed police officers families. Promote events, too.
C.) Deviate from, for example "Classic Rock", the norm and include "Pop" songs.
D.) Hook up with HD Radio people, and make a big deal of it, when it's not actually doing well, from what I understand.
E.) Lessen the typical DJ staff and include independent "special" radio shows. Less costly!
F.) Break away from the typical all talk Breakfast/Morning shows and play music, too.

Just watch too many try to make it big featuring "Oldies", but none, from what I've seen, do well.

Thanks! Good to have you back, Jimmy!! It's been "quiet" here!

Best,
John
