All,

Hi!

Hope everyone is doing well.

This is a short review of the Wednesday March 4, 2009 Top 40 Classics - The Classic 45's You Grew Up With Show hosted by Dr. Johnny P. LoveTrain.

Great Show!

Olivia Newton - John and Andy Gibb started the show with a 4 play consisting of a Olivia and Andy duet, 2 songs by Andy and 1 tune by Olivia.

Andy Gibb would have been 51 years old on March 5th. Doing each hour, Dr. Johnny read an E - Mail from a listener who replied to the question, " Why Do I Love Andy Gibb? ". Also, during the third hour, a poem from a listener was read.

The 3 Of A Kind feature was also presented.

The main idea of this feature is that listener tries to figure out how each of the 3 songs played are related to each other.

The first listener to E - Mail Dr. Johnny with the correct answer, will get a " Shout - Out " on the air!

The songs played were:

Rainy Night In Georgia - Brook Benton - 1970
Fire And Rain - James Taylor - 1970
In The Rain - The Dramatics - 1972

The answer of how these 3 songs are connected with each other is:

The titles feature the word, " Rain ".

For Your Love - The Yardbirds - 1965
Love Will Turn You Around - Kenny Rogers - 1983

The second hour of the show started with his Original / Remake feature. The song presented was " Just The Way You Are " by both

Original Version: Billy Joel - 1977 - 1978
Remake Version: Barry White - 1978

During the remaining of this hour, these were some of the Listener's Song Requests that were played:

Sherry - The 4 Seasons - 1962
Lost In Love - Air Supply -1980

10:00 P. M. EST - 11:00 P. M. EST

I Was Made For Dancing - Leif Garrett - 1978 - 1979
It Keeps You Running - The Doobie Brothers - 1976 - 1977

The Time Machine segment presented 5 songs and covered some of the news headlines on March 4, 1983. The fifth song in this segment played was the #1 song on this date, " Do You Really Want To Hurt Me " by Culture Club.

Next Week's Time Machine will feature March 11, 1973.

The show ended with " Sailing " by Christopher Cross from 1980.

Have a safe, beautiful and Blessed day and weekend in Him.
