Yes, the same Edwin Starr of Motown Fame with hits such as:

" Agent Double - O - Soul " in 1965

" 25 Miles " in 1969 which reached the Top 10

" War " in 1970 which was his biggest hit. It hit the #1 spot in August and September 1970

" Stop The War Now " from late 1970 to early 1971
