Subject: Six for #1 Bob - Status at #12

Message Detail:
... and a last one, probably nothing "Stereo" new to you, but new to me. Had I been able to acquire and compile this Stereo (and oddities) collection in the early '70's, I would have been a wealthy man, because I know the *new* Stereo FM radio stations would have had to have it to broadcast. However, these days, you can play these early songs, even in Quadraphonic, on Ultra HD Radio, (if any of that were possible), remastered in 48 bit digital sound, and you're going to get a little applause, but not much. I can tell, Bob, because the people who actually love this music, the enthusiasm isn't even enough to sustain continued conversation about it. Great music, but that's why it found itself phased-out by commercial radio. Also, the line is fine between Classic Rock and Pop music, but I weigh this one more towards Classic Rock, even though a One Hit Wonder...

Have a great day, Bob! Thanks for allowing me to "vent".

p.s. Now know I was in error with The DC5 tune. Sorry.

Best,
John
