Message Detail:
Bob mentioned during this week's countdown from 1970 that Oliver's real name was William Swofford. Unfortunatly, he died from cancer in 2000.
A rather interesting sidenote is that his brother John is the President of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and is head of the Bowl Championship Series (BCS), that annually criticized for not truely determining a national championion in college football.
