Hi Bob, Ok, I have a good theme for you :) You can use whatever name you want for it but this is how I describe it: East LA inspired Lowrider Oldies (also Art Laboe inspired) Here are some of my favorite songs that I would consider in the genre: Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time- The Delfonics Yes I'm Ready- Barbara Mason You'll Lose A Good Thing- Barbara Lynn I'm Your Puppet- James and Bobby Purify Ooh Baby Baby- Smokey Robinson Tears on My Pillow- Little Anthony & Imperials Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)- 4 Tops Sitting in the Park- Billy Stewart My True Story- Jive Five Could This Be Magic- The Dubs What do you think? This is probably one of my favorite genres of oldies music. ;) Heather |
