'The History Of Soul Music' next week?

Rather hear 'History Of Pop-ular Music'.

Anyway, Bill Chase, of the music group Chase, disliked gimmick, studio fabricated sound. For example, on The Turtles "Do You Know What I Mean", studio musicians were used, not The Turtles. Amazing, what went on during 'The History Of Pop Music'.

Here's Chase's only Top 40 US Hit, that sounded just as good when performed "live", on "Here's Johnny!" - The Tonight Show, as it did in the studio. Been remastered...

Best,
John
