Actually, I thought "Volare" might be the third one - and was racking what little brains I have left to see if a version other than either Domenico Modugno's or Bobby Rydell's had charted during the sixties, but obviously not.

Then I began to wonder about those bossanova songs like "Desafinado" but I did not think any of them got to Number 1.

Then there was "Eres Tu" by Mocedades, but that would have been in the seventies, and I think it only got to Number 2.

Of course, it's hard to say what language "Louie Louie" was in - would that count?
