Can you name me three (3) #1 '60's Hits that were sung entirely in another (non English) language?

Jim replied....

I have a feeling that there is some sort of catch in the question!

Perhaps there were songs which were Number 1 on some chart other than Billboard (for example Cashbox or Record World)?

I can only recall two making Number One on Billboard, both in 1963.

"Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sakamoto and "Dominique" by The Singing Nun.

Before that, there was "Volare" in 1958 - and I suppose you could technically count "Love Is Blue" by Paul Mauriat, in that the A side was instrumental, and the B side was the same song sung in French.

I do not know.

Put me out of my misery.

Please!
