Ha!!! :-)

On Secret Agent Man and Memphis, the echo in Johnny's thank you's and where they end up in stereo is what puzzles me. Granted, the "mixing" could have ended early and that's why Johnny's voice seems to relocate.

Why risk a good, hit recording, that could end up poor, because an uncontrollable audience? What did it gain Johnny, being at The Wiskey A Go Go? This is where I got into an argument about Otis Redding and if he did the actual whistling on "Dock Of The Bay". Others claim a musician, Steve, did it, but I and my ears say Otis did it, after listening to the "first" version, in stereo, with studio chatter.

Thanks, Jim!!

Best,
John
