Subject: John Rivers - Live or Studio?

Depending on which CD you buy, you get more of the recorded songs. This particular CD includes (3) "thank you"s at the ending of the songs, from Johnny. I undertsand they may have been record at a Whiskey-A-Go-Go, but I'm having a hard timne believing that. The "thank you" has some echo to it. Why? Where these actual live recordings or fabricated to sound like ones? Anyone know? Here's "Memphis" ending...
