I once only knew of Wednesday's '70's version, but this is nice, too! Funny, in a way, the way the song plays out a car crash that, later, killed The Cavaliers producer!
Billboard and newspapers ate it up!

Sort of like Katrina & The Waves (a group name I never heard of - but snappy hit) and how that name latter focused on something not so nice!
