Hi Bob,

How are you doing? I know you haven't heard from me in quite some time, but this is just to let you know that I've been pretty busy lately with some things. But I'm still listening to your programs fairly regularly, and still plan to support UOR whenever I can. And I really need to send you another playlist sometime in the future, because it's been a while since I've done that.

As you know, I married my Russian bride, Marina, about a couple months ago. And since that time I've been pretty busy trying to get her and my step-son, Oleg, to learn the English language a lot better through classes, tapes, etc. And plus I've been trying to get them to learn to drive a car, and that can be fairly time consuming as well.

But I'd still like to get a chance to meet with you sometime. It would have been a little easier for me if you would have stayed in Seattle and continued working for the radio station since I'm still here in Boise. And I was surprised to hear that you moved far, far away -- down to God's country down in Alabama and bought Jack Gale's old radio station. But it sounds like really a great opportunity for you to do this, and I'm sure you're up for the challenge -- and I'm sure you'll do a great job there at that oldies station. I lived in the South a while back and really did enjoy my time down there.

So I really don't know when I'll get a chance to meet with you sometime. Sometime in February, my Russian bride and I will probably be taking a belated honeymoon, and spend a couple nights in Branson, MO, and one night in Tulsa, OK. So maybe that's a possibility. Or possibly when you're doing another oldies dance in Baltimore, I may be able to go over there sometime. Or perhaps we may even visit with you in Alabama sometime. And the same holds true with Paul Carter Jr. as well, as I'd like to meet with him sometime.

Hope things are going well with you, my friend, and wish you continued success with UOR and your new radio station!!

Will Spaulding
