Yes, we have a government but not a very good one. The chickens are coming home to roast and we are seeing before our eyes the unwinding of the global financial system. Too much spending, too much debt, too much war, too little manufactuing, and too little saving. When history looks back, it will mark the Republican administration of Bush Cheney as the precusor of the fall of America. Not that that Democratic administrations are any less to blame, but the Bush administration has completely sold Americans down the river.
