As a listener of satellite radio for about a year, I would have to disagree with you about Satellite radio playing redundant records like the 'top 40' stations of the day. I listen to about 20 different stations from time to time, and I constantly hear songs that I have never heard on commercial radio like 'album cuts'. As far as T.V. goes, again while I would agree that most of what commerical T.V. offers isn't worth watching, there are many channels that do provide quality entertainment like the History Channel, Discovery, A@E, Lifetime, TCM, Court T.V., Biograpy, various sporting channels, music, and much more. You just need to expand your mind a little bit to see some of the possibilities John.
