It certainly came out fairly fast. Incidentally, had she any German connection? I ask because she did a lot of work with a German-American Exchange group later on.

Re the remakes - some were great, some were dire!

I actually preferred Doug Sheldon's UK version of "Runaround Sue" to Dion's (which shows how little taste I had) but now and then, the cover did add something. Still, it was rare enough.

But since we are on Lesley Gore, I recall a version of "It;s My Party", which was if I remember rightly, in Swedish, but the lyrics of which dealt with a guy being sent to a labor camp for drunk driving!
