I would agree. I enjoy Gary. His "This Diamond Ring" was the very first song I drummed to when it was a hit! I was just a squirt! :-) As for musicians, did Gary always play drums on his major hits? I would gather to say no, he did not. Actually, I would not be surprised if any of the group members did, on one or more, other than Gary singing. It's tough to detect over dubbing, or dubbing, ADT, etc., of vocals. Some seem to think Keith's "98.6" has Keith dubbing his own vocals, when it's actually The (later) Tokens. I never did like "live" recordings, but as one person recently wrote, you get to hear the Real McCoy of talent of the group or artist; no bells or whistles to mask with Got to run!! Best,
