As Bob knows, I'm a big fan of "vintage" songs, in Stereo. I came across this one (see snippet), but I wasn't impressed. I enjoy taking what my peers publish and see if I can improve the sound any. The snippet represents my, one might say, accidental improvement. Sounds good with headphones, not sure how it sounds with stereo speakers. We Five featured Mike Stewart, brother to John Stewart (Kingston Trio and later Solo work). It appears Mike was responsible for the We Five arrangements. From the review applause for some Audio CDs of the We Five, it seems they had many fans. I could listen to the opening of this song a million times and never get tired of it... Best, |
