It is great to hear from you. Bobby was one of a kind. I never met him...but because of my association with Buddy Deane for the better part of a decade, he and I discussed over that period, many anecdotes from his personal friendship with Mr. Darin which I found very interesting.

In 2004, I was privileged to narrate Mr. Deane's life story in a TV special produced by Maryland Public Television. In that production is a fascinating story about Bobby's early appearance on the Buddy Deane TV program in 1958 as told by one of the original cameramen...PLUS...about 35-40 seconds of 8 mm COLOR footage shot of Mr. Darin on the set while performing live on TV.
