Sorry John I can't throw any light on this version. For your info "The Radiants" had no chart records in the UK at all & outside of the Northern Soul circuit they are virtually unknown here. I'm sure you already know this but here was there line up on that track The Radiants (members Mitchell Bullock, Wallace Sampson, James Jameson and Victor Caston) Chess 2037 - Hold On / I'm Glad I'm The Loser - 1968 Maurice & Mac had already left by this time & there record "You left the water running" remains one of my favourite soul songs Alan
