Subject: RE: Quick Time Player |

For some reason, their technology doesn't allow our programs to start when you click on the PLAY button. What it will do is download the show. That's not the way it's supposed to go. Bob, with my site. with just .mp3 extensions, both my legacy Netscape (home) and modern Firefox (work) browsers utilize Apple's Quick Time player. It's very primitive, but has a small footprint. It plays my snippets after it buffers enough, but you can alter its settings, I believe. While looking through HTML code, I came to discover you can put a player on your site, such as listeners' Media Player, to play the tunes, but I'm not sure that is a great idea. Again, I stress, you should provide instructions how to enter the URL link into Real Time or Media Player or even WinAmp. Remember, others complained that even Real Time had to download the entire show before it played. Best,
