Bobby is indeed playing piano on the session, but do you know who played piano on the demo of the song?

Jean Murray, who was Murray The K's mother, and of course, the lady who co-wrote "Splish Splash".

Incidentally, I am not sure of the recording date, but it was in early 1958 and that same morning, Atlantic star Chuck Willis had died, and as a result, the session ahd to be delayed for several hours.
