I first saw him in the 60's with Jerome & The Duchess & I was hooked.
I next saw him sometime around the early 80's?? in an oldies show with lots of big names such as Rick Nelson,Del Shannon,Bobby Vee,Frankie Ford & although early in the line up he stole the show.
I had booked to see him again last year but it was cancelled when he became ill.
His guitar playing may have been limited but the excitment wasn't.
R.I.P one of the true greats.
