Since you can find me saluting the artists, '50's-'70's, throughout the 'net, under various names, I was surprised to receive replies and e-mails from actual group members, one being Jerry Plunk (drummer, lead singer), of Flaming Ember (white Soul, as Joel Whitburn would write). Always thought they were a black group, until I bought their album many years later, with the hits "Westbound #9" and "Mind, Body and Soul". That, to me, was so "cool!" Hope Bob doesn't mind me congesting his forum! :-) Best,
