Sounds like you're talking about Red Bird/Blue Cat Records! :-)

Little story. I was told if "Rebel Rouser", by Duane Eddy, was in stereo, then it's a "cheap" remake.
Nothing cheap about it! Was remade while Duane was with RCA. I guessed "circa '65" (based on the actual sound recording), then later was told it was actually 1964! It's not all of us who have a "gifted ear" :-)

The "Paladin" portion below, the sax player, at the end, sounds like The Witch Doctor - David Seville ...
"ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang"!...
