It was left to Duane Eddy years later (in 1962), to do this. Western went on to star in lots of cowboy films, and wrote songs for "Bonanza".

From what I understand, Duane, a good friend of Richard Boone, appeared in two episodes of "Have Guns Will Travel".

Bottom line, I needed to know if any of this version, by Duane, was ever used on the TV series. It wasn't, I'm told.
