Subject: Attn: Bob and Alan Rich - Re: Jack Gale/Beatles

Message Detail:
First: Bob, I dropped Jack Gale a line, even though I don't know him as a DJ, but he seems to be a very humorous person. That's great!

Bob & Alan (or anyone): The Beatles "I'm Down", was aired on WOGL recently, as the flip side of Beatles US hit singles. However, it was played from a vinyl record (Stereo LP)! I found that odd! So, later, I did an internet search and discovered it's hard to find, in Stereo, on CD! Also, it's claimed to be the "flip" side of "Help!" single, but both UK and US issues of this LP, according to Wikipedia.org, doesn't even contain it! I also discovered, during my search, there may be various Takes (versions) of this song. What's the story behind this song? I liked it so much, I bought a "scarce" EMI Ltd. 3" 1989 CD single, with "Help!" and "I'm Down" on it! Hope it's Stereo!

Thanks!!!

Best,
John
