Message Detail:
Bob, another question the was asked is, with Audio CDs, mainly offering LP versions, rather than 45 Single versions, what do "Oldies" radio stations do?

If I walked into a "modern" radio station, I would expect to see:

A.) No CDs
B.) All songs on a hard drive, LP and/or Single version.
C.) Songs would be found via a database. This would include searching via Artist, Top 40, etc., etc., plus brief information would be included about the artist. All computer driven.
D.) Someone paying an outside source for all the above.

With WOGL, they miss a lot of the decent '70's songs. Maybe they can't find edited 45 versions. Makes me wonder!

Lay it on me, Bob! :-)

Best,
John
