Subject: RE: Satellite vs High Definition Radio

Message Detail:
Bob, Norm... Whatever satellite offers, commercial radio can. Only difference, the advertisers/sponsors pay the radio station, while listeners, like with PBS, pay satellite stations, or service. One has commercials, the other doesn't. (Feel free to correct me). If I have no say what I want to hear with the one I pay for, forget it. However, satellite offers more flexibility, because they are not governed by the FCC, for content.

You can have Satellite Radio or HD Radio, but with either, you have to fork out money for a new receiver (and service).

Best,
John
