Bob, since you did a Doo Wop teaching session, I think I'll do one and teach everybody how to play Wipeout. In the mid to late sixties, I had to play the thing but I never thought of it as an example of good drumming and I grew to hate playing it but it was often requested so... we played it. The last time I played it was by request at the Concordia Club in I think 1979. It is in 4/4 time and we will start by having everyone tap their right foot 4 beats to the measure and tap their left foot on 2 and 4. We will get into what to do with the hands later. I will say that the hands will play 1/16 notes.... that being sixteen beats to the measure. So everyone try that for now and we will get back with you and see how you doing.
