Hey, Bob, since I have you here...

Recently, elsewhere were were chatting about record play at raio stations. Some wondered, including myself, how songs were played over and over and the vinyl record never wore out. So, how was it done? Tape them? Receive multiple copies? We were also talking about the way records were handled, to make them last. But on Hy Lit's web page, I see him handling a LP by it's surface! Were DJ's generally careful or not?
