Well Bob I love to hear the really early shows lots of songs I don't know & some fond memories.I can remember watching the Perry Como show every week with my parents & seeing him introducing Tomboy as a new song sent in by a listener.
There is a station over here in the UK which plays old charts & they have been right back to 1953 & I find them really interesting.
By the way you made reference in my new show with Jimmy Dee to Bangers & Mash so here are 2 more English dishes you probably won't know in the States- Sausage Toad & Spotted Dick (no thats not rude) no prizes for working out what they are.
