I, too, know of a couple (magazine) writers, one even writes for the UK. I THINK it's Beat Magazine - devoted to '50's - 70's music.

Yeah, occasionally, ACE may ask my opinion how a song was constructed, you know, underdubbing, overdubbing, etc..

But, with me, I'm more technically oriented. Even the best music writers seldom can answer any of the questions I have, because they are not personnel related questions.
