As one of the former "Big Wheel Good Guys" I can tell you that Oldies 700 was an uphill challenge from day one. It sad but true that music on AM radio is a thing of the past (with the possible exception of gospel). There were many other challenges that faced the station that aren't neccessary to go into. Terrestrial radio is, in my opinion, nearly gone. Sirius, XM and internet radio are its successors. We've got a good thing with websites like this one. Oldies radio is not dead. It's just found a new life off the dial.
