First: Who would listen to AM Radio, these days? Well, okay, I do, but for news only. Far from great fidelity.

I scan the FM band to see what is new and exciting. As far as Oldies, in NJ, there isn't much! I found a Philadelphia, PA (Philly) station, WRNB. Cool call letters for a R&B station. They say the play "old school" R&B, but looking at their several young, female, DJs, I'll pass! I e-mail their Station Manager and the e-mail bounces. Oh, well!

The old hand DJ's stick with the BIG Corporate stations, not that they enjoy it, but it's a job! Where else can they go? I listen to one DJ on PBS, saying how great Doo Wop was, but, sadly, he only gets to play a short segment, once each Sunday night, on radio!

Radio is just too chaotic, these days. The people who manage the stations should be fired! :-)
