Thanks for the link. What a CD! I loved their stuff, so this is one to treasure.

I played the vocal snippet of what must be the least intelligible commercial I have ever heard!

However, the tune is identical to the Connie Francis Revlon cuts, and the phrase "How Pretty Can You Be" was Revlon's - also used in commercials for their Natural Wonder brand, mentioned by your sister.

Natural Wonder was a brand name owned by Revlon. Revlon opened up the Natural Wonder brand in 1963 and kept it going as a separate brand until 2000 when they sold it.

Lots of pop people recorded promos for Natural Wonder - including the delectable Debbie Gibson who also did the promos for another Revlon product - Electric Youth which was a fragrance "invented" by herself.

Methinks I know too much about ladies cosmetics!
