I was doing my once every 10 year "Garage Cleaning", and uncovered a long lost box of "Cassette Tapes" One of which was a tape of "Carl Perkins". what a talent, what a voice, with a good band to back him up. Seems to me that he was over looked, most of my so called music expert friends have never heard of him? "Jimmy Dee", another talented master of music and all-round great guy, just "Burns Me Up" to think these progenitors of "Rockabilly & Rock & Roll" have never gotten thier "Props"! "Blue Suede Shoes & Henrietta" two of my all-tme favorite songs, they should be "The National Anthem(s) Of Music". We should start the "Ultimate Oldies Hall Of Fame", and they should be the first two inductees!
